They say the mills never truly shut down. That in the hollowed out heart of Pittsburgh, in the skeletal remains of Bethlehem Steel, in the rusted rail yards of Erie, you can still hear the clang of phantom hammers. Ashes of Industry is the scent of those echoes.
It’s inspired by real hauntings like the spectral welder seen pacing the catwalks of the Carrie Blast Furnaces, his torch long extinguished. Or the ghost of a foreman in Buffalo, who still checks the timeclock every night at 3:17 a.m., decades after the plant closed. In Detroit, a man in coveralls is said to walk the halls of an abandoned auto factory, leaving behind the scent of leather and smoke.
This is a fragrance for the descendants of steel, coal, and iron, who carry the scent of their ancestors in their blood and bones. This is a requiem of soot and silence.
Smells like:
Vanilla smoke curling like phantom factory plumes
Black amber and scorched cedar, smoldering like slag and sorrow
Worn leather, rusted iron, cold steel
Furnace ghosts and the metallic hush of extinguished flame
Notes of:
Black Amber, Charred Cedar, Rich Vanilla Smoke, Oud, Sandalwood, Dark musk, Benzoin, Cardamom, Cinnamon.
Inspired by: Men who built empires and disappeared into dust, remembered only by the families who loved them.

Ghost trains still thundering through the night.
