Cernunnos is a Celtic deity of the forest and wild. "In Gaulish, his name is rooted in the word Karnon, which means horn or antler" . The Gauls widely celebrated him, creating depictions of him as a man with antlers, surrounded by wild animals and nature. There are over 50 artifacts remaining today. One of which is the Gundestrup Cauldron, on display in Denmark. This Wild God may not have much of his story written but his image speaks volumes and the fact that they remain, speaks even louder. Today he is regarded as the God of Wildlife, of the woodland creatures and plants, of fertility and hunting. Our Cernunnos scent is all forest and earth. It is a beautiful grounding and healing scent full of Pines and sweet, yet slightly tart apples. Whether for your altar, a ritual or just to create woodsy, good vibes in your home, this candle is sure to make you feel the magic. Our Candles are made with the highest quality products, hand poured, burn smooth and smell like magic. (ALL OF THEM!) They are currently available in 8oz glass Amber jars (Candle itself is 7 oz +/- .5oz) with black metal lids. These items are handmade.
