The exact meaning of the Disir (Dee-sir) is somewhat unclear. Dis, meant 'Goddess', 'Lady', 'Ghost', 'Mother'. In skaldic writings and translations of the eddas, 'the disir' translated to Norns or Valkyries. They are depicted as our female ancestors, our Guardians, as fertility goddesses, and assisting the dead. Some believe, as I like to, that they are all connected, ALL our ancestral mothers. When it is our time, our mother ancestors will be gathered in a meadow, where it is forever spring, waiting for our arrival to carry our spirits to the other side. This scent, pays tribute to them, all of the mothers who came before us, and their spirit home, the glorious green Meadow of the Disir. Our Body Oils are made with high quality fragrance oils. They are packaged in 2 oz glass bottles. Ingredients: High quality fragrance/essential oils. Oils vary but may include: Almond Oil, Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, Rose Hip Oil, Vitamin E, Rice Bran Oil, Olive Oil, Jojoba Oil If you have an allergy to any of these oils and would like a custom order with that specific oil removed, please contact me. To Use: After your shower or bath, LIGHTLY pat dry and apply the Body Oil to damp skin. Once applied, you can again pat dry, if needed. By applying the oil to damp skin, you're able to stretch the oil a little further and ensure a smooth, and more even application. Perfume Oil: 10 ml Glass Roller Bottles (Stainless Steel roller ball) Ingredients: High Quality Fragrance/Essential Oils, Organic Coconut Oil Use: Shake the bottle well to redistribute the fragrance. Apply to pulse points (wrists, behind the ears, neck, chest, etc.). Apply as needed. Sugar Scrub: 10 (+/- .5) oz plastic container Ingredients: Sugar, Oils (may include: Almond Oil, Rose Hip Oil, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Jojoba Oil), Vitamin E, Lavender flowers, fragrance/essential oils To Use: While in Shower or bath (towards the end), apply a dime to quarter size amount on hand and scrub in circular motion, Rinse well. *BE CAREFUL to not slip!
