Before modern day conveniences the hearth, was the center of the home. It provided warmth, light and was the place for cooking. Fires for our ancestors played a massively important role in their lives; this is why you see them at every ritual. The hearth itself, provided a place for fire inside the home and represented the home. The hearth witch is VERY similar to the Kitchen Witch, and the Cottage Witch as far as domestic duties are practiced with intention, care and spiritual significance. Many explanations of the hearth witch, never mention the hearth at all, I suppose due to the 'outdated' use of the hearth, and instead use the symbolism of the hearth. A hearth witch should have a focus on the homes center. That may not be a fire in your home, it may be the kitchen- drawing from the past in that the hearth was a kitchen tool. The Hearth witch finds their power in creating comfort for themselves and loved ones. They are hospitable, they are healers, they are comfort seekers. You'll find them domestic goddesses, honoring domestic deities, incorporating ancient ways into their work. They are Witches of the Home.
Our Hearth Witch Body oil is made with Rose and Myrrh infused oils, Rose Hip oil, and a bit of our Cerridwen fragrance. (A Smoky Rose and Myrrh) This body oil is much more Smoky Myrrh than Rose.

I am making no claims about what benefits you may receive from this body oil but do recommend taking a little dive into researching these ingredients for topical and spiritual use.

This oil is made with:
Rose Infused Oil, Myrrh Infused Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Rose hip oil, and our Cerridwen fragrance.
They are packaged in 2 oz glass bottles.

To Use: If you are looking to use this oil to help heal or soothe certain skin areas, apply as needed. If you are wanting this as a replacement for your lotion, I recommend you apply after your shower or bath, to damp skin. Once applied, you can again pat dry, if needed. By applying the oil to damp skin, you're able to stretch the oil a little further and ensure a smooth, and more even application.
