Victorian Mourning Body Spray

Our Victorian Mourning Scent is full of the smell of beautiful dew kissed rosebuds in the morning, fragrant white Lily, fresh greenery and a little splash of cedarwood. This certainly would have done the trick for any Victorian in Mourning. The Victorian period saw the birth of the wake. People would gather in the home of the deceased, paying respects and visiting the family to offer comfort. In this visit, flowers would be brought to the family to bring sweetness and cheer to the family, and to mask any lingering odors. Roses, Lillies and greenery were common. While this sounds morbid, this fragrance is anything but. It is a GLORIOUS rose- not granny perfume, not that awful powdery mess often labelled as 'Rose'. This is any rose lovers dream.
